Welcome to St. John's

about_nielsens.jpg If you are seeking a church that combines the awe and inspiriation of liturgical worship, a priority on preaching and teaching that is learned, Biblical, and relevant, and a community into which you will be warmly welcomed, St. John's just might be the place for you.

Ours is a parish of Anglican Christians who are seeking to know, love, and serve Christ in all we do. Our worship is characterized by musical and ceremonial beauty and we strive for excellence in the many educational and ministry opportunities we offer adults, youth, and children alike. Worship, discipleship, and mission make up the three-fold purpose for which we exist.

We hope you enjoy exploring our website and getting to know our parish. The "Quick Links" menu on the right will take you to our more popular points of interest: service times, sermons by our priests, and our monthly newsletter, THE VOICE. Further down on this page, you can meet our clergy and parish staff.

St. John's was founded in 1946 as a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas. We are proudly associated with the Anglican Communion Network, a fellowship of Anglicans within and outside of the Episcopal Church, together seeking to renew a unified, faithful, orthodox Anglican witness in North America.

St. John's Episcopal School was founded by the parish in 1953 and is home to 500 students, grades pre-K through 8th. The school is dedicated to a program of academic excellence designed to train the mind, strengthen the character, and enrich the spirit of each student in a Christian environment.
