The Rev'd David Stangebye Houk, Rector
Fr. David Houk is a graduate of Wheaton College in Illinois, and completed his seminary studies at Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry in Ambridge, Pennsylvania. He was ordained in 2001 in the Diocese of Pittsburgh, and first came to Dallas for a curacy at St. Matthias' Church. Fr. David was called to be the rector of St. John's in June, 2006. He is a student of Church history and theology, a lover of liturgy, and passionate about Biblical preaching for the transformation of hearts, minds, and lives in Christ. He and his wife, Meghan, have four children: Anne, Aidan, Mary Cate, and Peter.

The Rev'd Robert M. Corley, Chaplain and Curate
Fr. Bob Corley joined the staff at St. John’s in the summer of 2006. He has deep roots both in Texas (fifth generation) and the Episcopal Church (third generation), having been baptized at St. Barnabas' in Garland. After completing his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington, Fr. Corley worked in the defense and telecom industries for ten years. He then headed to the School of Theology at The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, for his seminary education. Fr. Corley has been married for twelve years to his wife Laura, and they have two children, Annie and Anderson.
